"Doc", as he is known by the WLA, advanced through the rankings of all players by setting 2 WLA World Records. He first broke the previous Low Score to Win score of 8 by throwing a 7 and then went on to set a second record by beating 7 with a 6. Both games were Sanctioned and Certified as official by the WLA Records Committee.

Doc has also been involved in several WLA Committees which have helped add to the depth of the game. He has, for example, helped recognize and put into place the ranking of Ledge players. In such, the WLA now ranks players into three groups, Novice, Pro, and Super Pro.

Doc has taken the game to heart and community by offering the opportunity to introduce the game to everyone around him.
